Masonic Membership Visibility Day 2025

The Grand Lodge of Illinois A.F. & A.M. is proud to announce Masonic Membership Visibility Day 2025, a statewide celebration of Masonic pride and fellowship. On Saturday, August 16, we invite all Freemasons in Illinois to proudly showcase their affiliation with our ancient and honorable fraternity.

Each year on the third Saturday in August, we come together to visibly express our pride in being Freemasons. Whether it’s a hat, shirt, or pin bearing the Square and Compasses, this day is about letting our light shine, demonstrating the joy, respect, and loyalty we hold for our Masonic journey.

“Loyalty to My Brothers and Freemasonry”

This year, we honor the enduring loyalty that binds us together as Brothers. Through thick and thin, Freemasons support one another—not just in word, but in action. A supportive phone call. A ride to Lodge. Being there when it counts. Our theme reminds us that loyalty is the heartbeat of Brotherhood and the cornerstone of our Masonic identity.

How You Can Participate:

• Wear the Square and Compasses: Whether you’re attending a Lodge event, spending the day with family, or just running errands, wear your Masonic apparel and let others know who we are.

• Download and share the official flyer: Post it in your Lodge, email it to your Brothers, or share it online to spread awareness. Download here!

• Tell your story: We invite you to reflect on this year’s theme by sharing a moment when a Brother showed loyalty to you. Did someone check in when you needed support? Step up without being asked?
