Brother John Nelson in Action

In 2011 Brother John Nelson approached Brother Jeremy Morgan about doing a triathlon together.

“The amazing thing was that Brother Jeremy Morgan did not run swim or bike, because when he was 10 he was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis,” says Brother Nelson.

With support from St. Paul's Lodge No. 500, the two of them purchased a racing wheelchair and developed the needed equipment for them to do the triathlon together.

Together with Brother John Nelson, the two of them raced multiple triathlons proving that with brotherly love and support, barriers can fall.

Sadly in 2019, Jeremy Morgan passed away, but to this day John Nelson is still active in his St. Paul’s Lodge.
